Human Trafficking
In Thailand, about 600,000 people are victims of modern-day slavery. Nearly 5 million people have migrated into Thailand from poorer neighboring countries, such as Cambodia and Myanmar. This presents traffickers with opportunities to manipulate migrants into involuntary servitude or sexual exploitation.
The Scriptures call every follower of Christ to join in the work of making disciples everywhere.
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
We will be serving at Grace International School in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
One of the leading causes of missionaries leaving the field is lack of K-12 education and necessary supplemental education services (speech services, special needs, etc.). Grace exists to serve missionary families in Thailand and around Southeast Asia by providing quality, affordable education for their children and meeting this need.
This enables missionaries and aid-workers to stay effective for longer periods of time in their ministries of fighting human-trafficking and providing follow-up counseling and restoration, reaching the unreached, church planting and so many more.
