WHAT DO WE KNOW ABOUT FEAR the Royal Art Academy in Stockholm 1998

Installation with Johanna Ekström. Video-projection and 600 glasses filled with water.

The video projection shows zebras filmed in Tanzania as they approach a waterhole. In the vicinity, but outside the frame, there are crocodiles and lions waiting for their prey. The zebras are very nervous but need the water. They move back and forth, trying to decide if it's safe to drink. Different motions pass through the group. If one of the animals makes a sudden move, they all move.

Shown in our studio at IASPIS while participating in the international studio program.
