This month’s featured benefit is…
The Commonwealth of Virginia’s CommonHealth Program has partnered with WeightWatchers (WW) to help you reach your weight-loss and wellness goals. WW provides a personalized program, which can help you lose weight, eat healthier, move more, and develop a positive mindset.
The membership plans through CommonHealth provide a 50% discount over the retail price. Core membership, which provides an individualized nutrition plan, easy-to-use trackers, 24/7 live coach chat, and more is $8.48/month with the discounted rate. Premium membership, which includes core membership benefits, as well as in-person and virtual weight-loss support from a WW coach, is $19.11/month with the discounted membership rate.
All benefits-eligible state employees, as well as their spouses and adult children (18+), are eligible for the discounted WW membership.

Mid-Atlantic Women's Care In-Network with Anthem
Mid-Atlantic Women’s Care has entered into a new agreement with Anthem BCBS, effective August 1, 2023. Your provider will stay in-network and this new agreement will ensure that there is no disruption to your access to quality, affordable healthcare. If you have any questions, Mid-Atlantic Women's Care welcomes you to contact them directly at the office or through the patient portal.

Alight Takes Ownership of ReedGroup
ReedGroup, which serves as Virginia Retirement System's (VRS) third-party administrator for the Virginia Sickness and Disability Program (VSDP), has been acquired by Alight. Over the next few months, references to ReedGroup will change to Alight on the VRS website, in handbooks and in other communications.
We are excited to host Money Matters, a day-long financial seminar, on October 17 at the Festival Conference & Student Center.

2023 Modified Summer Work Schedule Ends
Friday, August 11, 2023 was the last day of the university's modified summer work schedule for 2023. University hours of business operation returned to 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday effective Monday, August 14, 2023.
