Dean's Message
Dear Friends, Summer is an exciting time at Mississippi State University's College of Veterinary Medicine as we welcome new members to our CVM family. Throughout June, we have been pleased to welcome new faculty and staff, incoming house officers, and the members of the DVM Class of 2030. Their talents, energy, and commitment to veterinary medicine strengthen our college and position us for continued success. As we celebrate these new beginnings, we also pause to recognize colleagues whose careers have left a lasting impact on our institution. This month, we honored the retirements of Cindy Ratcliff, Timothy Bush, Stephanie Huffman, and Joey Kellum. Collectively, they have dedicated decades of service to the CVM, and their contributions have helped shape the college we are today. We thank them for their commitment and wish them all the best in retirement. Our campus continues to evolve as several major construction projects make steady progress. The entrance to the new equine hospital is expected to open in the coming months, marking another significant milestone in this transformative project. As work advances, we will continue moving forward with construction of the new farm animal hospital. We are also pleased that the Nancy Fair Link Laminitis Research Center remains on schedule. Looking ahead, registration is now open for our annual Career Expo. This event provides an outstanding opportunity for employers to connect with and recruit our exceptional students while strengthening partnerships that support the future of veterinary medicine. We encourage interested organizations to explore the many sponsorship opportunities available. Thank you for your continued support of the College of Veterinary Medicine. We look forward to sharing more updates as we continue advancing our mission of excellence in education, research, service, and patient care. All the best, Nicholas Frank, Dean
