Step 2
License Assignment Methods
(Required for Creative Campus institutions!)
(1) Automatic Assignment Rules
For license quantities intended to cover an entire population, set up automatic assignment to the corresponding group.
By configuring automatic assignment rules, System Administrators can streamline the distribution of Adobe products and services within their organization. These rules ensure that designated users receive immediate access to the appropriate products when they request them through an admin-defined entry point—eliminating the need for manual intervention.
(2) Just-in-time License Assignment
For license quantities that are provided upon request or as needed, configure provisioning to automatically assign licenses when a request is made, eliminating the need for IT admin involvement.
Step 3
Best Practices in HED
(1) Domain Enforcement
Prevent users from creating and using personal Adobe ID accounts by restricting organization-owned domains.
Before you begin, ensure the following prerequisites are met to enable domain enforcement:
- Your organization must have one or more Enterprise or Federated directories with claimed domains configured in the Adobe Admin Console.
- You must have System Administrator permissions to view and manage domain enforcement settings in the Admin Console.
(2) Quick Login Link Enablement
Quick Logins enable a quick, one-click federated login to Adobe Express. This prevents users from creating personal accounts and makes it simple for your users to access Adobe Express. Below, we have provided some quick guides to add the URL to different locations commonly used in Education.
(3) Turn Off Notifications
Turn off user notifications in the Admin Console to maintain control over messaging during the entitlement change period.
