Families and Visitors Explore Rainforest Layers, Wildlife, and Cultures
Visitors stepped into a rainforest adventure during Mrs. Thorp's interactive "Welcome to the Jungle" classroom tour. Teachers, students, and family members were invited to explore a classroom transformed into a rainforest learning experience. Throughout the tour, visitors learned about the layers of the rainforest, discovered rainforest animals and plants, and explored the communities and cultures that call these environments home.
Student tour guides played an important role in the experience, sharing their knowledge and helping visitors navigate the various displays and exhibits throughout the classroom. Colorful artwork, creative projects, and informational displays highlighted the research and learning that took place during the unit.
