Community members can receive low-cost dental care while helping dental hygiene students gain valuable clinical experience.
SUNY Broome’s Dental Hygiene program is currently seeking patients as part of its student clinical training program. Community members have the opportunity to receive dental hygiene services at a reduced cost while helping students gain valuable hands-on experience in a supervised clinical setting. Dental hygiene students provide a variety of services, including oral examinations, dental cleanings, radiographs, oral health instruction, sealants, and fluoride treatments. These services are performed under professional supervision as part of the students’ clinical education. The clinic offers affordable pricing for children, teens, adults, and seniors, with free services available for SUNY Broome students and Medicaid patients.
Those interested in scheduling an appointment can contact the SUNY Broome Dental Hygiene Clinic at 607-778-5015. The clinic is located in the Decker Building, Room 101 at SUNY Broome Community College in Binghamton.
The clinic typically operates during the academic semester and will be closed from mid-May through the end of August.
