WHAT'S NEW AT GOOD ACRES?

UPDATE May 22, 2026 - As we started into this year we had to say goodbye to two more animals. Pig Otto as well as pig Charlie have passed on. Our two oldest horses Marc and Shabah continue to play and run despite having reached their 30s. The rest of the critters are equally happy and healthy.

UPDATE October 05, 2025 - Autumn is slowly taking hold of the sanctuary bringing some relieve from an incredibly hot summer. Over the past few months we had to say goodbye to 3 more animals, cat Shy Boy, goat Kevin, and cow Darby. With their passing, the sanctuary sure has become a bit quieter. Letting animals go when they become too ill to sustain a good level of life quality is hard, but it is also what reminds us of our important job as stewards of this sanctuary.
