1. Curatorship Elections

Successful Curators empower others to lead and ensure hub sustainability by holding elections each year in February. Bring your questions about the upcoming elections cycle and distributed leadership to our Curatorship Elections Briefing at 15:00 CET on 26 November!

2. SHAPE Events

SHAPEs are regional events created by Shapers for Shapers. In September, SHAPE South Asia took place in Jaipur, India! Jaipur Hub welcomed 189 Shapers from 24 countries to this transformative event. Shapers advanced dialogue on technology, innovation, healthcare, entrepreneurship, climate and nature, and launched youth-led solutions.

3. Monthly Show

Our October show will stream live on 19 November at 11:00 CET on TopLink and LinkedIn. We'll be joined by Ida Jeng Christensen, Head of the Forum of Young Global Leaders at the World Economic Forum. Ida is on a mission to activate responsible leadership to improve the state of the world. Join this conversation to be inspired by the journeys of young global leaders, as they drive solutions to pressing global issues.

4. World Economic Forum Annual Meeting

The 55th Annual Meeting will convene members of governments, international organizations, corporations, civil society, academic institutions and media under the theme Collaboration for the Intelligent Age. Thank you to more than 600 Global Shapers who applied to create change with us in Davos! Our #Davos50 will be announced on TopLink in December.

5. Regional Project Showcases

Community Champions will be hosting regional project showcases in December to put the spotlight on your amazing work and scale successful projects! Get ready by preparing a pitch about your top hub project. Share it with your Community Champion today.

6. Leverage Strategic Intelligence

Did you know that as a Global Shaper, you have free access to Premium Membership of the Strategic Intelligence platform? Minwoong Eric Hwang (Geneva Hub) shares his experience using the tool to for his project on AI and sustainability. Explore Strategic Intelligence to keep up with the latest insights, make sense of the countless transformations taking place in the world, develop a new idea for a hub project, and more.

7. UpLink Challenge

Are you working in a startup that aims to enhance metal and mineral recovery? Submit your cross-industry solutions to the newest Uplink Challenge on sustainable mining! This challenge calls for groundbreaking technologies to maximize the recovery of metals and minerals from ores and non-primary sources, reducing the need for fresh extraction to meet future raw material demands. Apply by 20 November. 8. Call for Interest: Global Network for Wildfire Leadership

Are you passionate about wildfire resilience? The Forum’s Giving to Amplify Earth Action is launching the Global Network for Wildfire Leadership, a platform for knowledge exchange and innovation to transform wildfire management. This initiative will connect public, private, and philanthropic sectors to build wildfire resilience, address climate challenges, and promote community safety. If you are between ages 18-25 and lead a nature and climate organization (which is a source of income), email globalshapers@weforum.org to express your interest.

9. Shred the Debt

Medical debt is a crisis for many households across the United States. This month, the Sacramento Hub launched Shred the Debt to erase millions of dollars in medical debt for individuals living in the Greater Sacramento Region. Through this initiative, the hub will fundraise $13,900 to purchase and forgive $3.7 million in medical debt at a fraction of its original cost. For every dollar donated, the hub can erase over $100 worth of medical debt. Learn more and share the campaign, or reach out to replicate this project in your city.
