This week, the children started their hockey tournaments and have been showcasing some fantastic attacking and defending skills. They have all been working incredibly hard and we cannot wait to host the semi-finals and final next week!
We finished our Geography topic all about rivers with one final task: creating a fact file all about the River Tyne. This will help us with the explanation texts that we will be completing in English next week!
We then started our new Science topic all about living things and their habitats. The children revisited the five animal groups and began exploring classification keys to help identify and sort different living things.
On Friday, we hosted our second Raising Readers event! We took part in lots of fun reading activities and were excited to receive our new books.
Thank you for reading our class blog.
