Community Updates

1. Monthly Show

Our December show will stream live on 18 December at 15:00 CET on LinkedIn. We'll begin with community updates, followed by a discussion on what lies ahead at the Annual Meeting 2026. Host Natalie Pierce will be joined by Sheikh Tanjeb Islam, Head of Editorial at the World Economic Forum and Global Shapers Christie Burley and Maazu Bayuoni. We'll also hear from Beatrice Di Caro from the Forum on how to follow the meeting virtually. Watch the November episode on COP30 outcomes.

2. Curatorship Elections 2026-2027

Great leadership starts with empowering others. Each year, Curatorship teams strengthen their Hubs’ future by holding elections — ensuring continuity, collaboration, and shared ownership. Have questions about the upcoming elections cycle or how distributed leadership works in practice? Review our Curatorship Elections Guide to ensure your Hub organizes successful elections. Hubs that fail to submit timely elections results will be flagged for closure in 2026.

The Global Shapers attending the meeting will ensure that youth perspectives are central to these discussions.

8. Aire Global - Rosario Hub

The Rosario Hub's Aire Global project is installing air-quality sensors to address the lack of real-time, accessible air-quality information for communities affected by the fires in the Paraná wetlands. The initiative provides live monitoring data, educates residents on air-quality risks, and raises awareness of the broader environmental crisis caused by the burning of wetlands.
