Temples inside of temples a continuous flow of honor

To me, visiting the Shaolin Temple represents introducing life to yourself. As our bodies are temples, we build temples to outwardly express our dedication what God has placed inside of us.

This visit made me to see that the physical stewardship of our bodies must be valued as much as the spiritual stewardship of our bodies. Just as we honor and respect these external temples that embody our faith and devotion to a higher power, we must honor and respect the personal, intimate temple that the higher power uses to show love in this world.

What is worn on the body is representative of what is believed in the mind that controls that body...

When I chose this garment for our ancient representation, I did not know it was for a male warrior or soldier during the Ming Dynasty.

But it made me feel like the "Deborah" I believe I am. In the book of Judges in the Holy Bible, Deborah was the only female judge, prophet, and lawgiver during that time. So, I did not feel out of place, but right in place as my personal temple represented what I believe was the level of strength and courage during that time period.
