Registration is now open for the Adobe Education Institute (AEI), an invitation-only virtual conference for our Adobe Creative Campus partners worldwide.

The AEI consists of a series of eight hands-on workshops that you can access either on-demand or live. In each workshop, you'll discover ways to deepen student engagement and foster multi-modal teaching with Adobe Express.

All of the AEI live workshops will be offered at various times to accommodate different regional timezones, as shown below:

Each numbered workshop (1-8) is the same regardless of timezone.

Note that you don't have to attend all the live workshops; if you register but can't attend, you'll receive a recording after the session.

AEI 2025 Live Kickoff: Perspectives on AI Literacy and Innovation Across the Curriculum

We’ll kick off this session with a quick introduction, then dive into Adobe's innovative approach to Gen AI with the Content Authenticity Initiative. Afterwards, we’ll join a dynamic panel featuring diverse higher education personas and institutions to explore practical ways to innovate pedagogical practices and embed digital technologies across campus.

Workshop #1 - Introduction to Adobe Express in Higher Education

Master Adobe Express Basics in this focused workshop. Learn to create graphics, translate them, design syllabi posters, animate characters, and build webpage portfolios. By the end of this workshop, you'll have foundational skills to enhance your teaching with creative, visually engaging projects, transforming your classroom experience.

Workshop #2 - Visualize Data in Adobe Express

Effectively communicate complex data using Adobe Express. Participants will learn to summarize data with charts, graphs, tables, and infographics. Engage in activities that include creating infographics to explain technical concepts and inspire data visualization in teaching and coursework.

Workshop #3 - Create Accessible PDFs in Adobe Express

Learn to create and edit PDFs using Adobe Express. This workshop covers organizing pages, combining content, and adding accessibility tags. You’ll also generate images, translate documents, and compile a multi-page PDF with charts and graphs. By the end, you’ll have a polished, accessible PDF and a solid understanding of Adobe Express.

Workshop #4 - Teach AI Responsibly with Adobe Express

Discover how to harness the power of AI tools in Adobe Express to create stunning images, templates, and text effects. Discuss responsible AI use in the classroom, and gain insights into Adobe's initiatives for AI in education and the Content Authenticity Initiative. This workshop is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of how to teach AI responsibly while leveraging Adobe's innovative tools.

Workshop #5 - Create Video with Adobe Express

Discover how to bring your story to life using sequences, sounds, voiceover, animated characters, and translations. This workshop includes a review of storytelling techniques and prepares you to use and teach video creation with confidence.

Workshop #6 - Collaborate Across Campus with Adobe Express

Discover how to enhance your teaching with Adobe Express in our collaborative workshop. Learn to create a unique brand, remixable templates, and best practices for projects. By the end, you'll be ready to integrate these time-saving methods into your workflow.

Workshop #7 - Design Presentations & Webpages in Adobe Express

Learn to create multimedia presentations and webpages using Adobe Express, incorporating video, graphics, animations, and data. Enhance your teaching and learning with effective multimedia content creation skills. By the end of this workshop, you'll be well-prepared to design and present engaging materials.

Workshop #8 - Produce a Podcast with Adobe Express

In this workshop, you will record and edit a mini-podcast, design promotional graphics, and integrate audio into a video. By the end, you'll have a polished podcast segment and accompanying promotional materials to add to your portfolio, along with ideas on using these tools for assessments in your courses.

Live Wrap-up - Success Stories from Campus Innovators

In this wrap-up session, we will review your key takeaways from the week and acknowledge your Padlet contributions. We will also hear perspectives from those who've taken steps to incorporate their learnings into the work they do in higher ed. We will then have breakout sessions to explore and discuss how to apply these insights moving forward. By the end of the session, you will have tangible ideas for how to develop a plan to implement your learnings in your work or practice.

AEI Badges & Credentials

Here's a list of all the credentials available to participants of the Adobe Education Institute and the criteria for each:

Workshop Badges

Each workshop has its own badge that you'll earn by attending a live training or completing that workshop on-demand.

AEI Fellow Credential

You'll automatically receive the AEI Fellow credential for completing four or more workshops (either live or on-demand).

AEI Influencer Credential

This year, we're also offering a NEW credential for participants who choose to go above and beyond: AEI Influencer. Those with Influencer status will join an elite group of Adobe thought leaders, and may be invited to showcase their work at upcoming customer events and collaborative meetings. To qualify for this new level, AEI participants must submit a portfolio of work - created in Adobe Express - which includes activities from at least six workshops that they have completed.

A: We recommend joining live workshops from your desktop. Two monitors are ideal, but not a requirement. Live workshops are delivered via Zoom (please ensure that you are able to access Zoom beforehand).
