Dean's Message

Dear Friends, In just a few weeks, we will celebrate the graduation of our Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Veterinary Medical Technology students. After years of dedication, perseverance and rigorous study, our graduates will reach a milestone that reflects both their hard work and their commitment to the profession. The DVM awards and graduation ceremonies will take place May 12 and will be livestreamed from our website. As the date approaches, we will share additional details, including the livestream link, so you may join us to help celebrate. Last month, we welcomed the public to our annual Open House, one of my favorite events of the year. Few things bring me greater joy than seeing the sense of excitement and curiosity on the faces of the children who attend. Moments like these remind us that Open House plays an important role in inspiring the next generation of veterinary professionals; some of whom, I am confident, will one day call the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine home. I extend my sincere thanks to the Office of Admissions and Student Success for organizing Open House, as well as to the faculty, staff, students and volunteers whose enthusiasm and dedication made the event such a success. All the best, Nicholas Frank, Dean
