In spite of a difficult operating environment, we had an improved month of August! We closed 210 loans for $54.8 M, an improvement of 20 units and $3.8 M. Application volume ticked up 15 to 253 and our total loan pipeline inched up 10 loans and $10 M to 499 and $150 M! All very positive results, a trend we need to continue as we head into the traditionally slower 4th and 1st quarters. We also disclosed 302 loans, let’s get those locked (lock volume down a bit, -7 and -$1.6 M to 188-$48 M) and to the settlement table this month!

We have 188 loans in September's pipeline totaling $47.9 M.

Craig joined TMSI in August 2021 to manage the Williamsburg, Virginia office.

Craig is a lifelong resident of Virgina. He grew up in Northern Virginia and moved to Hampton Roads to attend Old Dominion University where he earned a degree in Criminal Justice.

He is a proud father of two adult children – Tiffany age 25 and Alexander age 22.

After 6 years in retail bank management, Craig entered the mortgage business in 1993. In fact, the first mortgage company he joined is where he met Rob Runnells and Patty Bartneck who also were new in the business.

In his personal life, Craig’s passions are photography, videography, tennis, cycling and online dating. Yes, he has some crazy stories and most importantly, receipts to back up his adventures!

Random facts about Craig. He has two brothers, one of which is his twin, has attended a live taping of the Price is Right in California, spun the wheel on “Wheel of Fortune”, been in 3 bank robberies while working at bank, and turned down the opportunity to be an FBI agent in the early 90’s.

Craig is actively involved in local nonprofits to include The Alzheimer’s Association, Faith in Action and Grove Outreach Center.

TMSI TO OFFER PATH TO DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP

The Path to Diversity Scholarship Program recognizes existing industry professionals who are seeking to advance their careers through continuing education. Recipients receive a voucher to cover course registration fees, up to a maximum of $2,000, for popular MBA Education courses and designation programs. This education opportunity enables employees from diverse backgrounds to advance their professional growth and career development.

Scholarships awarded under the Path to Diversity program can also be used towards six upcoming MBA Conferences where attendees can obtain Continuing Professional Education (CPE), Continuing Legal Education (CLE) or Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) credits.

Since the scholarship is only a voucher to cover registration fees, TMSI will cover the cost of travel and hotels for any conference if necessary to any awarded applicant!

TMSI and Chesapeake Homes hosted the team from Exit Realty Myrtle Beach for a breakfast meeting at Heritage Park. Exit Realty Myrtle Beach brought 10 of their top agents and brokers to have the meeting. They learned about Heritage Park, and how Chesapeake Homes's quality stands out among the rest.
