With 20 years of dedicated legal experience since earning her Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law in 2006, Amber Candelaria brings a deep, well-rounded perspective to the bench. Amber's career is defined by her unwavering commitment to Nevada families. She spent her early career on the front lines of the Eighth Judicial District Court's Family Division, serving as a Pro Tem Hearing Master and Program Director for both the Domestic Violence Intervention Office and the Family Law Self-Help Center. Since 2012, she has brought that invaluable court perspective into private practice, focusing almost exclusively on Family Law. A recognized leader in the legal community, Amber has been entrusted by her peers with key elected and selected positions. She has proudly served on the State Bar of Nevada Board of Governors, the Executive Counsel for the Family Law Section, and the Nevada Supreme Court Access to Justice Commission. As a long-time Nevadan, she also values public safety and the critical work of local law enforcement.
