Community Updates

1. Monthly Show

Our October show will stream live on 28 October at 15:00 CET on LinkedIn. We'll begin with community updates, followed by a conversation between Natalie Pierce, Head of the Global Shapers Community and Miss Jane Ittogi, First Lady of Singapore and member of the Global Shapers Foundation Board. Together, they’ll explore topics such as women’s leadership, the societal impact of AI, and the importance of intergenerational collaboration, among others.

2. Communications and Branding Updates

Over the years, we’ve seen exceptional communications and visibility work led by Shapers, and we celebrate your impact. To ensure consistency and alignment with our communications and branding guidelines, please note the following updates:

  • The World Economic Forum's logo cannot be used by hubs. The Forum’s name and logo are reserved for its own initiatives and meetings. Inappropriate use of the Forum's logo could jeopardize your Hub's participation in the network.
  • When sharing your affiliated position with the Global Shapers Community on platforms like Forum Spaces and LinkedIn, clearly indicate that you are a member of your Hub, not an employee. For example: "John Smith, member of the Global Shapers Atlanta Hub at the Global Shapers Community."
  • Submit no more than two Forum Stories pitches per year, directly related to your work, and have them approved by your Community Manager before submission.
  • Share your impactful events and achievements via the Content Capture Form to gain visibility on our official channels.

3. Explore Forum Spaces

We’re excited to invite all Global Shapers and Alumni to explore Forum Spaces (formerly TopLink) — the World Economic Forum’s new engagement platform designed for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and showcasing impact. Accessible exclusively to Forum partners and community members, Forum Spaces connects you with peers, insights, and events across the global network.

To get started, consult the Forum Spaces Guide and watch the training session recording from 9 September to make the most of the platform.

4. Alumni Celebration Day 2025

Join us virtually on 30 October at 15:00 CET to celebrate the remarkable journey of our 2025 Global Shapers Alumni! We'll welcome new members of the alumni network, discover what it means to be an alumni and how to stay meaningfully engaged, and hear inspiring testimonials from remarkable alumni members worldwide. Active Global Shapers and Alumni are all invited to this special day of connection, recognition, and celebration.

World Economic Forum Events

5. World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026

The Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos will convene members of governments, international organizations, corporations, civil society, academic institutions and media under the theme A Spirit of Dialogue. Thank you to more than 650 Global Shapers who applied to represent youth perspectives in Davos! Our delegation will be announced in the coming months.

Impact Opportunities

6. Are You Attending COP30?

Shapers Pelo Clima, an initiative by Global Shapers in Brazil, is amplifying youth voices at COP30. Complete this scoping survey to let us know if you’ll be attending, so we can include you in on-site plans organized by Global Shapers. If you’ll be directly involved in Blue Zone negotiations or have confirmed speaking engagements at COP30, please share the details with your Community Manager.

7. CNN Call to Earth Day

Join CNN’s Call to Earth Day on November 6 under the theme “Guard Your Green Space” — a global movement to protect the natural sanctuaries that sustain biodiversity, boost mental health, and cool our cities. From tree planting to clean-ups, register your event for a chance to be featured across CNN channels.

8. Improving the Workplace for Gen Z - 2025 Survey

Kitoko People is inviting you to share your voice in their Gen Z Workplace Survey, designed to understand the priorities, values, and expectations of young professionals in today’s world of work. Your insights will help shape better workplace practices and opportunities for the next generation.

Community Spotlight

11. Project 'nDonnamo? - Vie Libere alle Donne'

Image: Rome Hub

Did you know that in Italy, only 4–5% of streets are named after women—mostly saints or mythological figures? The 'nDonnamo?' project by the Rome Hub shines a spotlight on the incredible contributions of women through interactive urban tours. Each tour is thematic and immersive, celebrating women-led breakthroughs that have shaped Italian history and culture.

Next time you’re in Rome, join a tour and discover the remarkable women who deserve recognition—but haven’t (yet) had a street, park, or square named after them!

12. Forum Stories

We believe in a world where young people are central to solution-building, policy-making and lasting change.
