Throughout my projects they show every type of dyslexia. Dyslexia is a struggle that many deal with. Every 3/5 people are diagnosed dyslexic and some still have no idea they are dyslexic. My projects show the types of dyslexia, the different struggles, and how the right side of the brain operates. The right side is more dominant in dyslexic, and it shows in art the right side is the more creative side too. I struggled with dyslexia for years and so have many other people. I want my art to reflect the understanding of this struggle and show the thoughts of a dyslexic mind. Many people with dyslexia visualize things when reading rather than analyze it. This has been a huge struggle in my life and between my photos and 3D art I want that to show. My sculpture pieces were very intestinal when using books, paper and the words that caused me so much pain and struggle and getting to light them on fire and visualize what I see. This portfolio healed a little something in me and I feel I have truly expressed what I see and how I understand the world.
