To help students succeed in a competitive job market, higher education leaders need to equip students with sought-after skills and ways to showcase them to employers.

Professor Justin Hodgson of Indiana University will demonstrate how projects with integrated digital badges can help students articulate their learning and their career-ready skills, supplementing traditional degrees. You'll discover:

  • How digital badging programs provide a quick mechanism for students to cultivate real-world career skills
  • How digital badging enhances student projects and offers success measures outside of traditional grades
  • How badges and credentials can help hiring managers identify that students have both practical skills and growth mindsets
  • How self-paced Adobe Express and Firefly badging and credentialing programs align with academic goals and workforce-ready skillsets to help students stand out

11/6 - IT Professionals:

Join us to learn about a new addition to the IT Admin Console that will go live in November. A new required acknowledgement will be added to denote if you are a K12 or Higher Education (or both) customer. Adobe Privacy & Legal requires confirming that all US-based K-12 EDU customers are shown COPPA compliance before being able to continue into Adobe Admin Console. For this reason, all system admins will be required to select "K12" or "Higher Education" before accessing the admin console with a nuance that if they select K12, they are shown COPPA Compliance.

11/13 - Academics & Career Services:

Higher education institutions are crucial in preparing students for the AI-driven future, equipping them with essential digital and creative skills. Generative AI, augmented reality, and virtual reality are transforming careers and daily life, making AI proficiency vital. Recent research highlights that 66% of industry leaders wouldn’t hire someone without AI skills, and creative thinking will be the top skill by 2027. This session will explore how campuses are integrating AI and creative skill micro-credentials into their curricula to ensure students’ career success. Join Adobe's Brian Johnsrud, global head of Education Learning and Advocacy to learn more and ask questions.
