PERSONAL WEBSITE &Brainstorming Creating & Turning in Your Adobe Creative Cloud EXPRESS web page and GOOGLE DOC

There are TWO PARTS you need to follow to complete your WEBSITE PROJECT

  • The What Makes Me, ME? Google Doc
  • And a Adobe Creative Cloud EXPRESS Web Page.

PART 1 - Create your GOOGLE DOC

  • Create a copy of the What makes You, YOU? Google Doc provided - there are instructions included in the DOC to help you complete the assignment
  • MAKE SURE the Google Doc file is named properly! Delete the "copy of" and add your last name.

There are 2 SECTIONS in the GOOGLE DOC

  • Create a LIST of 10 things that make YOU - YOU
  • NEXT, answer the 5 QUESTIONS provided - try to answer in complete sentences with proper grammar and punctuation

PREPARE TO SHARE YOUR DOC

  • When you are done, make sure you SHARE your document so that ANYONE WITH LINK CAN VIEW it - see the video below to see the process

Once you finish making your list and answering your questions, you can move on to the next step - the WEBSITE!

ON TO THE NEXT STEP...THE WEBSITE

Now Create your Website!

Using Adobe Creative Cloud EXPRESS

Go To Creative Cloud EXPRESS

And choose the WEBSITE TEMPLATE

TAKE A LOOK AT MY EXAMPLE TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF HOW YOUR WEBSITE SHOULD LOOK...

Now on to the steps!

  1. CREATE A TITLE PAGE - Use your name, nickname initials then add some words in the subheading to describe yourself (at least 3 words...) AND add an IMAGE to the background!

Then

  • Use the Answers from the 5 questions in your WhatMakesYou,YOU? Google Doc to ADD to your Website.
  • You can add the questions (but you don't have to) and then the answers from the Google Doc - Copy and Paste is fine!
  • Now find some visual images & pictures to help describe (illustrate) your text
  • Try the different ways to add content to your WEBSITE
Clicking the + sign gives you tools to add content - here is the BUTTON TOOL

Watch this video if you need help adding a button to link to your GOOGLE DOC

  • I would like you to try different ways to add content to your website like GLIDESHOW PHOTO GRIDS, SPLIT LAYOUT ETC.
  • Once the 5 answers and your images are added you will SHARE A LINK to your website to turn it in.

CREATE A SHARE LINK

Copy your SHARE LINK and turn in to SCHOOLOGY by pasting your link.

  • Use the BLUE SHARE BUTTON in the upper right corner of your browser
  • Then click on the PUBLISH TO WEB button
  • Click the BLUE CREATE LINK button
  • Click the COPY LINK button and then...
  • Paste your copied LINK from Adobe EXPRESS into Schoology
  • DONT FORGET to give your link a appropriate title - you decide!

To turn in your website LINK into SCHOOLOGY

Choose CREATE instead of UPLOAD to create a LINK in Schoology
  • You will need to TITLE your link - You can name it whatever you want - BE CREATIVE

If you make any changes in your website, you DO NOT need to resubmit your link in Schoology - you just need to UPDATE your LINK in Adobe EXPRESS.

UPDATE LINK

If you add or remove content in your EXPRESS website or make any changes, you need to UPDATE THE LINK for those changes to take effect....

  • Click the SHARE BUTTON
  • Click PUBLISH CHANGES
