All-new Photoshop iPhone app reimagines image editing for mobile creators

For over three decades, Adobe Photoshop has empowered millions of creators to bring their imagination to life with power, precision and unlimited possibilities. Photoshop’s impact on creative expression is undeniable and we are amazed at how millions of creators around the world have edited digital images, explored ideas and expressed themselves with unique digital art. At the same time, the next generation of creators, who increasingly create while on the go using their phones, have wanted ways to use Photoshop’s iconic tools and capabilities to ideate, explore, and craft stunning visuals anywhere. You asked, and we have answered...

Today, we’re thrilled to introduce Photoshop on iPhone— a brand-new, free mobile image editing and design app built to provide the magic for which Photoshop is known with a reimagined interface optimized for phones. Now, mobile creators can add, remove, adjust and combine content and tap into a vast library of free Adobe Stock assets to create rich, one-of-a-kind visuals, without compromising on precision or resolution. Soon the app will be on Android as well, sign up here to learn more.

You might be thinking: “Photoshop on the phone can’t be the same as Photoshop on the desktop, right?” You’re right! Photoshop on the phone is not intended to replace Photoshop on the desktop, particularly for Photoshop users who already harness the full power and precision of the desktop app. While the Photoshop desktop app has deep and powerful tools that enable precision editing on larger screens, Photoshop on the phone is built to empower mobile-first creators who may just be getting started, want to create wherever they are whenever they want and may be new to Photoshop and its power.

We’re also introducing a new Photoshop Mobile & Web plan, available via the App Store, which gives creators access to premium mobile features and Photoshop on the web. Both the mobile and web apps are designed with similar user experiences, and files automatically sync so you can seamlessly create across surfaces. Photoshop on the web has powerful new updates including enhancements to the user interface for more intuitive editing, direct integration with the Adobe Stock library of hundreds of thousands of free assets, and expanded availability across browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. For existing Photoshop desktop subscribers, Photoshop on iPhone and Photoshop on the web are included with your subscription so you can access your work, make quick edits or capture your creative ideas anywhere you are.
